Hell yeah XD Well this one is opriginaly a design made by Koerting but Koerting was bought by Gorenje. The backside panel has insctructions ingraved in it in languages of west European countries but Gorenje just stuck a sticker in Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and Macedonian (languages of Yugoslavia) over it and that was it XDDD Oh another thing. My grandpa made an extra switch on the wire becouse one time a bribed Tv repairman told him that if he turns it on and off too much the original switch will eventualy brake becouse it's made badly so he made an extra one XD

XD Gorenje exported to France and that is a fact owo One of my grandparent's friends was sort of a 'warrant officer' for Gorenje and once he had to go to France just to check if everything was ok. He came there nice and easy. In the morning a worker comes to him to raport ''Uh sir we have a slight problem.'' ''Yes? =D'' ''Well...you know of the 3 ooo refridgerator shipment from SR Slovenia/Yugoslavia-France? On this model at the production line they stuck a manual to the side by tape...at the warehouse we pulled this tape off and by some fridges colour scraped off too where the tape was...'' ''Ah is that all? No problem we'll just buy thoose 5, 6 back and-=D'' ''5,6 MY DICK! ALL 3ooo ARE THE SAME!!! D<'' ''*facepalm* O-ok. Oh output...yeah a big pickle now >x< The output for TV signal is the same as on my black and white tv (S video I think?) no SCART. And get this...digital transofmers-there IS a model that would be perfect. Room antena plugged in at one end and tv at the other but get this...my father went to an electronic store and the clerk said that people bught it and we're bringing it back becouse it didn't work properly...I think this isn't coincidence. The companies who make them probably make them realy louse so new tv's would be bought I bet @˘_@ I expected nothing less. Still, D: We DO have cable in this house and our Phillips (a big tv arround 15 years old screen is allmost compleetly square not round at all is why my father loves it XD) has a cable digital transformer. But it has an S Video plug too o.o Basicly we'll maybe try to get cable into my room and buy a cable digital transformer then it should be good...I hope DX Tho I'm getting a ZX for FREE very soon OwO That will probably work! Why do you need a "digital transformer"? All DVB-T boxes output analog signal from SCART and RCA yellow plug, sometime S video... right?

It's not important really... ON this TV there is input AND output. Because cheap tape recorders had no TV tuners here! So they had to be plugged on TV to record channel broadcast.

If it's this plug, you simply need an old DIN plug (search into audio cables) and a RCA plug. Signal on this kind of plus is composite, NOT S video (S video was created in 1995) so you need any TV box that output composite signal on those plugs :

and then on your DIN plug, find the good pins to use. Then sound goes on the second plug. (It's mono only of course)

Well, S video is both a type of plug and a video standard.

Basically, broadcast happen in both ways : analog and digital.

Analog use the same ways : the basic image in black and white, in two norms today, either 525 lines at 60htz, or 625 lines in 50Ht; plus the color, coded into a norm (NTSC, PAL or SECAM). Then the sound is added. As it was made at different time in different countries, sound is not placed at the same place, explaining the different norms like B/G and D/K, and why you get a perfect picture on a PAL B/G set but no sound if plugged on a PAL D/K broadcast.

Then for video appliance, there is norms to carry the video signal without the costly and quality degrading UHF converters.
The oldest and simplet one is composite, on the yellow RGB plug. It carry the black and white pic, plus the color in PAL, NTSC or SECAM norm. And sound carried on another cable.
Then S video, which carry black and white signal and color signal on different cables, amking the quality better.

And last, better system is the RGB you found on SCART, this time the three colors of the picture are carried separately, like for computer screens (the norm is the same BTW, in theory you could plug a computer screen on a SCART RGB plug).

If your TV have only an antenna plug, you need to turn your analog signal into a TV like signal.

But if your TV have and video input, like a DIN plug, you can plug your TV box directly.

the DIN plug is like a SCART or RCA video input, you don't need to turn your signal into TV broadcast signal...

I think I understand >~< Oh and btw...listen!!! o.o In the living room we have a 15 year old Phillips it works just fine...it has a DVB-T box now and before we had it, it was connected to Cable via the antenna plug. Between the antena wire and the tv, is today the DVB-T but if I turn it off, I still get old cable channels o.o I think this is becouse there are still analog signals running trough the cable wires. I connected my black and white to that wire once...and...it worked! ^w^ Of course I only got the 3 national programs, and 2 Croatian national ones and 2 fun channels but what are you gonna do >.< Tho NOW, I have no idea how many channels this Gorenje tv will broadcast if I connect just cable to it O.O It's a living room fairly high standard tv unlike that cheap small black and white one...maybe I needen't get a DVB-T box after all, maybe I'll get all the channels I need XD

Yeah cable TV still broadcast some channels on analogic mode, most of the time on VHF I and III bands.

For your TV, if the plug is an input, try with a composite wire to plug in and see what it does on the screen.

Nah VHS's are still common here~ I mean theese days it's like this. I ent to an anime con and I only wanted to buy VHS tapes of anime since buying a dvd doesen't make sence you can just download it lol. But can you just download something for a vhs tape? It would present many more problems XD That's why buying a VHS tape is worth it while dvd is not O: Allready becouse the DVD and CD even more is a horrible method of reccording data to begin with! DX Well made reccords give a much much better sound x.x ESSPECIALY hooked to a Tube radio >XD VHS is kinda cool me thinks :3 I know after time it breaks just like the DVD but you just get some tape and your good hahaha! Horrible method to record with?! DO you realise the quality of a DVD is FAR higher than a VHS, also the wear is less, they last longer, and they don't have fungus growing on the tape, although that might just be a problem in humid malaysia. The only downside to a DVD is just sensitivity to the "Read" side or shiny side to being scratched.

Stretched for you because the TV signal you watch is 4:3 ratio (normal TV) that being's stretched to 16:9 (Widescreen) Over here our TV signal all comes in 16:9 normally already.

YOu can adjust the settings on an LCD or Plasma y'know? Instead of having the picture stretched, it can zoom in, leave black bars at the sides or a combination of the 3
