The Skaven are divided into numerous clans that constantly war among themselves, and the defeated clan becomes the slaves of the victorious clan. Other races are also encountered among the skaven slaves, but not often, as the conditions among the skaven are utterly horrific (most simply succumb and die), so slaves are most often other skaven.
