Some art for my gf

Was trying a different style which turns out doesn't work well at all. However I did what I could to turn it around with some basic shading n..n

Hey man, saw this and a few things irked me so I did a quick red line for you - http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d.....linefordan.jpg
It highlights some of the main problems I see in your work - females looking masculine and arms that aren't properly connected. Keep up the studies though, you should see some improvement (or at least feel it in your process) soon :3
AND not to be a massive negative arsehole, I really do like the mottled look the shading has. What brush did you use to get that effect?

Thanks a lot for the redline, I guess I really fucked this one up lol. I feel improvement but... Eh. Its not really happening lol.
I feel kind of stupid because most the things you redlined out I already know... Yet I don't even draw them in my own picture? That's a pretty big fail for me right there x..x
Will probably redraw this or something at some point so I can forget about this one xD

Yeah fuck it. I'm gonna redraw it. I can do better than this and really should try as it may help me remember your input more if I actually use it instead of viewing it and thinking 'indeed, I should have done that!'
Thanks again for helping, it makes me sad how few people are willing to help on this site x3

Nah, don't worry about things like that. I know how easy it is to put lots of effort into learning things then forgetting to put them into practice X3
I really look forward to seeing your redraw... I think you mentioned you where doing it now on your Twitter? Hehe
I'm honestly happy to offer advice any time. If you ever want me to help (or if you want me to bugger off for that matter haha) just let me know :3

Toepads well done, slender build, clean curves, well rounded bosom… bedroom eyes… cute lop ears… fairly easily recognizable lapine markings, cute nose and lip design, definitely sells the lapine look for me. Note, I am the worst at judging feminine forms; I just have no appreciation for their proportion and anatomy. It's a thing I'm not good with, just as some men are poor at doing this job with the male anatomy.
I wish to repeat comment made by Bjo Trimble, a female artist of no renown afaik, but doodled and judged, and was on the committee of Equicon/Filmcon 1975, of which I was also committee member. She told me one failing men had illustrating women was in thinking all they had to do was boobs, and there was nothing beneath that to illustrate. She said women have abdomens just as men do, and therefore have abdominal muscles and curves below the breasts that should be studied and included in illustration to better represent the subtle contours and shapes found beneath the bosom, the roundness of the tummy, the shape the vulva makes in pants and skirts and so forth, to not perpetuate this victorian attitude about women simply being milk bags for children… (she was a rather outspoken person.)
Anyway, being no student of the feminine form, I have no idea if there's anything wrong with the under-breast lines and curvature, shapes etc. I simply felt that in place of me commenting, I'd share the best education I ever got on the subject and never used.
Cheers Danza.
