The nice lady invited Hachi in and carefully showed them how to make these interesting pumpkins she had in front of her house. The lady had found Hachi staring curiously at the variety of Jack-O-Lanterns placed around the entrance to her home. Seeing that child-like curiousity upon Hachi's face, the lady decided to invite them to try making their own and show them the ropes if they didn't know how. She still had a few more pumpkins, she had no longer wanted to carve the faces she had sketched out on paper for them anymore, and figured this curious Meowscarada would make an interesting carving on one of them. After studying the careful work of the lady, Hachi went to work. They weren't used to using this sharp thingy, but got the basic idea of it down fairly quickly. Within a little over a half an hour, Hachi had completed their first ever Jack-O-Lantern and happily shown it to the nice lady. The lady smiled back, telling Hachi how good of a job they did, and then layed out a ball of candies for Hachi to take with them. Hachi put the Jack-O-Lantern in one arm and held the bowl of candy with the other with a happy smile on their face. They then had a shadow ralts talk the writing board from behind their back and write "This was so fun, thank you for teaching me!" on it. The lady looked shocked for a moment, before walking over and patting Hachi on the head, telling them to be safe on their way wherever they were going, and to stop by again if they ever found themselves back in her little town.
