well this pic here is to show you first hand on the left Sonic the blue speeder of everyones fav hedgehog
and the Right Runnic my chararter
note their spikes on their head how diffent they are
their bodys may seem the same but not for 1 Run's are Blue and if you look at Run's chest fur on my doodle you not almost a "V" on the top

The problem seems to be that the majority of the physical differences are purely asthetic. Clothes and hair.
Admittably, Sonic chars seem to be largely distinguished BY those very characteristics, so the point is moot. Well, moot-ish.
Anyways, there aren't a lot of major physical differences. The head-spines look somewhat like an amalgation of old and new Sonic styles.

I dun think that Runnic looks that much like Sonic
but there are things that look really similar
like the shoes
you could gave him new shoes wich are more different then Sonic's
allso his spikes you coul make them look more furry ,um.... you get wht I meen , whatever.....
and other stuff that you could change , maybe the end off his spikes white or sumthin'
