Here's the last chapter I'm sharing as a preview for now. I'll share more when the narrative is full-fleshed out enough for public consumption.
This is an excerpt from the novel I'm working on; still very much a Work in Progress. The novel is called Shadow and Song - it's a furry medieval fantasy story.
It's about the son of a rabbit merchant who is unexpectedly sent away to Cliffmore Keep to train as a squire, despite having no formal combat training or ambitions in that field. It's a coming of age story that started out as a stupid fluff writing exercise that spiraled out of control into something bigger.
Some of you may recognize the protagonist, Pepper. Pepper shows up in a lot of different projects in a lot of different ways - he's been a LARP character, countless helpful TTRPG NPCs, an Improbably Islander, and now a squire at Cliffmore Keep.
