unless there is supposed to be bad communication and mispronounced words in that case I would not use another word as a substitute but make something new up that sortof sounds right but is off like "hold peaze" and "zou ran hand peaze" while holding out his other hand to signal he wants it back or maybe "Zou Ran give hand peaze."

Those wre purposeful as Yo has a loose grasp on the common language. I was a bit worried it might not come threw with them speaking Ank to each other and You speaking common to Zhorin. Guess i should try to find an easy way to delineate betweento to languages now that I'm not hiding what they're saying in there languagewith there own righting. <^\/^">
I think it was fine but replacing another word for a regular one made it slightly confusing at the beginning ... you can also develop a font that takes elements of the font you created for their language but is otherwise normally readable without a cypher handy which would depict they are talking in their language vs regular common.
Then to translate their language into the worst accent you can imagine is figure out what kinds of sounds they use in their language and what sounds would be completely foreign like L to native japanese speakers or the entire english language to a native scottish or irish speaker or anyone from glasgow
