Clark was brushing his mane and humming a cheerful tune. He was about to go on a date. He decided to talk to Alfonzo, getting an idea for a tarot reading. The lion approached the fox. "Say, Alfonzo, how about a tarot reading, I want to ask about if the girl I am meeting is the one for me."
"Which one?" Alfonzo asked. "You have at least five of them, playboy." Alfonzo was not in the mood for futile romantic episodes."
It's the snow tigress, Gretchen Flowshine. I think she really likes me."
"I thought Veronica the husky did." Alfonzo said.
"Yeah, but Gretchen is a knockout." Clark said.
"More like she'll knock YOU out. She is the school wrestling and weight-lifting champion on the girl's team."
"Let's see the cards." Clark said. Alfonzo handed the deck to Clark. He shuffled it vigorously and handed it back. Alfonzo read the cards.
"Your first card is the ace of cups. In the past you started a new emotional relationship adventure with Gretchen and cannot stop thinking about her." He pulled out the second card. "The second card is the seven of cups. You are in a fantasy right now, making choices that might be clouded by wishful thinking." The future card he pulled out next. "The Lovers card shows that you are going to make a choice. The person you want to be with, like Gretchen or Veronica, will not only affect your life in a drastic way but will also majorly affect the lives of your family and friends." Alfonzo folded his hands on his lap. "Word of advice, get to know the people you are dating before you make mistakes you'll regret."
"Noted." Clark said. "I'm going now." The lion left his house and walked up to a car with a white tigress sitting inside behind the driver's wheel.
"Ready to go to the restaurant?" Gretchen asked.
"Yes. I sure am." he grinned as he stepped into the vehicle. As they drove away, a female husky sitting inside a red car was watching them. She told her superiors on the phone, "The lion has no awareness of what I am doing. Give me a week and I'll have his files searched. If he is truly stealing government files, I'm bringing him in." Veronica ended the call and folded her hands behind her back. "Clark has no idea what he is getting himself into."
