Yea, I'm constantly working on my anatomy and color techniques.

Hence why I have tons of sketches and unfinished color work.

They're all tests.

lol Just keep goin until you're satisfied, then go past satisfaction; p. much all there is to it. It's a matter of gettin what's in your mind's eye to canvas, and the satisfaction of being able to do so with little hitch as possible, I get. :)

Yep, I try to work to my happy point then work my way past that.

But I try not to take too much on at one time or it completely kills me.

Somebody once told me to try drawing sketches, limiting myself to about twenty minutes tops on each. Sadly, it's an exercise I've just started with, and am just now starting to benefit from. Doin lil "thumbnails" to get the general idea down for a pic is great practice for speed and layout. Also sets the mood for a pic before fleshing out and correcting errors. :)

I shall take on this exercise, see where it gets me.

Although I'm not super good with critique or things like that I still strive to better myself
as an artist.

But yes, I'll definitely dig through the bucket, links and favorites as well as try said things out.

lol One of the things you have to be open to's fair critique to grow. It's foolish to be so soft-skinned when help with your fallacies are stunted by pride.

lol Just do your thing, practice and learn. In the end, it's you that has to be satisfied, not your audience (unless you're being paid). You have to make yourself smile genuinely and as much as one can dodge the truth of your progress with others, it shouldn't be so with the self. Don't avoid, envelop as much that comes your way and grow. :)

Well it's not a pride thing, it's more of something else.
That and I've run into a few people who give nonconstructive critique.
I welcome it but it's either I don't get it or it's done in a not so good way.
