A large portion of Janblu's life was spent dealing with their demons, Inachukiza and Kitisho. The initial assumption that simply banishing them would work was false, and only led to more pain and torment. In the end, the ancient magics that caused the possession had a solution, it was part of a long psychological ritual, after all.
