Araz is mirror doppelganger of the Hyaena (now hippo) Zara who after obtaining a cursed magic mirror entered a small pocket sized mirror realm where she met her doppelganger. Araz is a pure blooded Lion and was the current crown prince of his world and unlike the obese dim muscle head Zara he was highly intelligent strategist and sorcerer who used his powers to take the throne by force and maintain his authority. After a few hours of getting to know each other it quickly became clear to both Araz and Zara that aside from having mutual respect for the other's desire to build a harem for themselves, they otherwise hated each other and a fight quickly broke out between the two. During a heated moment in the fight the two of them left Araz's kingdom in the mirror realm and returned to our world. Zara believed breaking the mirror would send Araz back home and smashed the mirror...while this did close off accesses to the mirror realm and vice versa it did not infact send the now magicless Araz back. Araz currently lives across the hall from Zara and spends most of his time trying to repair the magic mirror and regain his lost powers.
