Fox King Reacts to The Twits Official Trailer
Hello everyone, seeing that I enjoyed watching the final trailer to Zootopia 2, despite the fact that there's a feeling that the movie might get a Cars 2 treatment, since all of their animated films aren't doing well. I've decided to react to other trailers for upcoming movies on Netflix, starting with the movie based on a Roald Dahl book titled "The Twits". Now I remember reading the audiobook on Libby last year, and I thought it was interesting how the animals decided to fight back their freedoms from those two monstrous yet ugly humans, but how does an adaptation for this movie hold? Can we see that it's another success since movies like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and many others, or is this adaptation getting Roald Dahl spinning in his grave? Let's find out for ourselves as we react to this trailer, roll it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMZI0FkYLEs
0:00-0:24 So we're starting the story with the title characters doing horrible things to each other as well as everyone else, they are meant to be the villains after all. Like how they've stolen a gas truck to prank each other, whether it be trying to send his wife to the moon or putting a frog on her bed, to his wife feeding him worms, which is really gross, including a close-up to her face, making it unsettling.
0:24-0:36 Oh dear, now what I remembered in the book is that when children were on their tree, their pants got stuck on the branches that the Twits put on it. But this is a whole new lever for the Twits going after orphans, I sure don't want them to harm children.
0:36-0:48 So we know that in the book, the Muggle Wumps were monkeys, but here they look like blue imaginary friends. Now the kids are planning to fight back on those Twits.
0:48-1:06 Well, now we know why those Twits needed a truck that they've stolen, they're using it to try to attack the children in the orphanage, now the father Muggle Wumps barfing stress balls that come alive is something that an imaginary friend would do, not an actual monkey.
1:06-1:28 Now we're seeing that the story is being told by fleas or are they ticks, but whatever, and we're also seeing moments that were mentioned in the book it was based on. I also found it funny where Mr. Twit called his diorama a diarrhea, talk about not getting a lot of education or skipping school, but it reminds me of one of the videos in AFV.
1:28-1:46 Okay, now we're having the person who owns an orphanage as more of the good guys instead of being child-abusive villains in this one. Seriously, Hollywood needs to start respecting people who own orphanages and foster homes because we've been getting too many of those in movies nowadays. It's about time that Netflix did something different.
1:46-2:05 Okay, not only is this movie we're getting going to be based on a book, but it's also a comedy, as we can see that the Twits being defeated as they land in a dumpster full of bubble gum, or is it pink slime? Oh well, but at least I'm reacting to this until it's released by tomorrow.
And that was my reaction to the official trailer to the Twits, let's be honest here, if K-Pop Demon Hunters and Del Toro's Pinocchio can become a hit in the Netflix universe, then maybe this movie might have a chance at getting some prayers too. In fact, I think I might check it out for myself once it gets released. However, this is the first out of two animated Netflix movies I'm reacting to; the next one is not based on a book by Roald Dahl, but it does involve dreams. But I'll get around that when I've still got a chance, so stay tuned for that later on.
