The last of them were amc built they had 258 anc 6 and the contract was only like for 800 of them and they were to be only used at overseas bases. I missed out on getting one of them with a winch but my dads friend sold it becouse he forgot that I wanted it.

It was made by AM General in 1978 as a AM-715 had a GVW of 7800 lbs with curb wieght of 4700lbs it had a pay load of 3100 lbs with a 131 inch wheel base. it used 8 on 6 1/2 lug wheel just as the M-880. A NP 435 4 spd trans and dana tranfercase combo was used. and ran 7 50 16 tires than the 9 0016 .
