*WOOF*
Before we jump into this together, I want to apologize for the sudden drop in quality for this panel and the one to follow. They were drawn a WHILE back, but weren't uploaded. Reason being I wanted to get almost 10 panels out as a series all at once, that way ya'll got a butt load of updates for the comic. But that didn't end up happening, and I even had to scrap some stuff so that didn't help. However these panels are still true and follow the timeline, and are the basis for the following new panels. So instead of redoing these completely (which would take even more time), I'm gonna upload them as is, how they were originally made. I wanted to touch them up, but I love preserving stuff so they aren't gonna get any special treatment lmao. My artistic ability has since surpassed what you will see, but nonetheless it's funny seeing how I used to draw and the errors that come with it lol. Relics!
Also I know the previous two A and B updates made it seem like the new updates would come in a greater and better manner than these 2 new updates, but just shift your perspective to where it was referring to the new NEWER panels XD
Loborío making his way closer to the speaker box of a hole in the wall joint for some morning grub, not until he of course let's his wife know after their little texting session lol. The wolf dog may be texting and driving, but ehh his focus lays elsewhere against legalities haha. Thankfully only one car was ahead of him as you wouldn't want to get between a dog and his food especially when it's the first major meal of the day! Imagine pulling forward in a drive thru and your prospect of "fast food" was being bogged down by a faulty card reader, slow service, or waiting on the response of a family or friend via text to figure out what they want to eat, something they should have told you before. All the while you can feel the gaze of this wolf looking dog glaring into your soul with his deep amber eyes in your rear view mirror. You can see him fidgeting in his seat, the tell tale sign of an impatient dog XD
Certainly with only one car being present, speed of service shouldn't be an issue. Fast food spots have never been super slow on the outside, and even slower on the inside. Orío, mind clouded by the delectable textures of soft tacos, didn't account for this fact when happily yipped at the speaker. His enthusiasm faded when silence met serenity and he got reminded to never expect a quick food run is anything but haha. The employee is gonna learn the hard way making him wait. Or is Lobo such a frequent customer they know the soft whines being filtered through an electronic speaker creeping into their headsets is him XD Since it's not a Starbucks, he won't be able to order a pup cup for his troubles. So sad!

Aww he went from so excited to sad face too quick. *pat pat head*
From years of experience, drive thrus are always slower than just walking in and out whether ''fast'' food, pharmacy or bank. I say ''fast'' sarcastically because places like dang McDs and Popeyes take forever these days when I pick up ubereats orders.
P.S. I didn't notice a drop in quality for what it is worth, so don't worry about it too much!

If you pat his head enough times it will distract him and make his happiness come back, temporarily tho haha
Very true! I think the nature of face to face interaction makes it hard for the employees to slack off and keep you waiting, but if you're in a car then they can make you wait all they want it's not like they can see your angry face at the wait times haha. Popeyes does take forever!!! I wanted just a chicken sandwich this one time and it took so long I thought they were butchering the poor bird in the back too XD
Thanks! To me it looks super iffy in some places, but if you don't notice all the "flaws" then I'm good!

Maybe, but every time I go into a MCD or Tacobell for example they simply ignore the customers at the register. Not even a ''hello welcome, be right with you''. When did that become acceptable as the norm I don't know. Exactly, I feel bad the bozos at Popeyes had an excited customer like you waiting and waiting. Heck might as well go to a sit down restaurant.

Dude I know! I have no idea why a simple hello is too much to ask for, it doesn't even have to be a long greeting - I just want to know that the workers acknowledge that I'm there and that they will be with me once they get the chance. I walked out a barber shop one time for this exact reason, no one said hi to me. I understand they are busy too, but I wasn't gonna wait for a hello nor a spot so while as awkward as it was I got up and left haha.
The Popeyes had some sentimental value as it was the one near where I grew up so they had some protection from my ire XD Plus I just REALLY wanted a chicken sandwich so I was willing to sit and be a good dog and wait lmao
