I think Hooktail, Gloomtail & Bonetail are just classified as "Dragons", then again, that was only because they shared the same boss music in TTYD GC, "Dragon Battle". Yes, I know about Fracktail & Wracktail, but, they are more Chinese Dragon-like in design, rather than Yoshi-like in design.
Did you ever notice that? The fact Hooktail, Gloomtail & Bonetail's heads kinda look Yoshi-like?
