In the locker room, the smell of soap and deodorant mingled with that of sweat. Romeo put on his tank top. Garry struggled to get into his training shorts, looking perfectly proud of himself.
“You should definitely watch what you eat!” Romeo said, half amused, half concerned.
The golden retriever flashed a confident smile and patted his slightly rounded belly.
“211 lbs, man. And that's just the beginning. Trust the process, I swear!”
Then, as if he had just had a brainwave:
"By the way, you should come over to my place. My sister Farah knows her stuff. She helps me plan my meals."
“Your sister?”
“Yeah, she knows a lot about gaining weight. It'll be fun, I promise.”
Romeo hesitated, but finally agreed. He figured it couldn't hurt... a little more energy, a little more bulk.
