There's not much else to add onto what Reede had said! But let's dig deeper anyway, like any dog worth their salt could :D
If you had asked me a year ago, hell 2 years ago "Where do you think you'll be?" the last thing I would have considered would be the situation I am in currently. Like, not a chance haha. I thought I would have had my own spot by now with my brother, working that sweet 40 a week doing what I went to school for, engaging in hobbies and hanging out for fun, and have a new car yet one pre 2010 so I could still work on it haha.
That's where a lot of my insecurity comes from, feeling like I'm not in the position I wanted to be or should be in at this point in time. Despite my overwhelming feelings of inadequacy and negativity that plague me every so often, I pride myself on being the person who helps lift somebody up on a bad day, have funny and enaging conversations with people, be a helping hand, and plainly just a dude who makes people happy. Even if I'm not feeling that way myself that day. It makes me very warm inside seeing a genuine smile on a friend's face because I had done something to make em' cheerful. It's what I live for, and I intend to every point possible to infect yall with the same enthusiasm and wonderment with the drawings and art on my page. Your amazing comments and the convos that come from them make my day. Having something I sketched, inked, colored, and wrote dialogue for be analyzed by other furs and talked about still fascinates me - like I'm making a difference in others lives in a way :D
This is the stuff that makes me happy, and I know for a fact there's things you guys engage in that give you the same exact feelings! That's the focus you should have, to help you get through the toughest of times, navigate difficult terrain, and find your way. No matter how stuck or lost you feel like you are. Find ways to see the good in your life, and eventually those mishaps, mistakes, and problems you will face don't seem too bad anymore. They become small potatoes rather than giant insurmountable obstacles.
If you can do something about a problem, then it's solvable. If you can't, then move around it! Or if they become literal small potatoes, I'd recommend dicing them up into cubes and frying them in coconut oil :D

Maaaan, your routine in drawing is really showing. I think one can really tell that you've drawn tons of stuff like this before this drawing has been conceived. ^^ Those lines are looking very confident to me. Also I gotta Fave this because it has such great things to keep in mind about life. =)
Dude thank you!!! I have indeed been drawing a ton these past few months, mainly in my personal journal (which I haven't wrote in a bit sadly I need to get back to it), where I'll write what's happened in a day and I'll draw pictures.
What makes me sad a bit is I have a lot of drawings that are outdated by now, or no longer serve any purpose. I change things a lot, and those ones I have no use for. Plus they feature old character designs too lmao.
I am so happy you're noticing the improvements! Experimenting with different canvas sizes, brushes, work flows, has paid off :D
It's only up from here haha, and I REALLY gotta learn backgrounds. No more empty voids lmao.
And thanks!!! I need to look at this myself a few times to remind me when I get down. Appreciate you man!!!
