I’m loosely coming up with some lore for them that involves a type of infection au where people get infected by looking too much at the moon
Canines are naturally a bit more resistant but other animals like for example felines, rodents and equines will go insane from just one glance
During the day it’s safer to look at the moon but it is still possible to get a case of the lunies or whatever I’ll call the sickness
