Wasn't expecting to make this. But sometimes quick doodles spiral into things. It's been a while since I've publicly posted Digimon-related art.

This is me as LadyDevimon. Hence the M at the end. Any Digimon I drew myself as will have an M at the end as a sort of different "version" of it like the X-Antibody.

Usually, I don't relate to humanlike things very much, preferring to go in a more animalistic direction. But my brain was stoked back into the Digimon spirit by Time Stranger and I started to consider a digivolution line for myself if I was a Digimon. Not if I was a Digimon tamer, no. If I myself, was a Digimon. I've long had a fascination for BlackGatomon and LadyDevimon, since I had a dream of myself transforming into one and then digivolving to LadyDevimon as a teenager. There were some issues I had with the latter's design that prevented me from expressing it, but I just went ahead and decided to make it more palatable to my sensibilities.

Artist's Notes: So meet LadyDevimon M! How is she different from a regular one? I simplified the design because one of the reasons I don't tend to draw higher level Digimon very much is due to them being too cluttered. I wanted her to be easier to redraw. Also, I wanted her to look more harmless and cute rather than evil, thus I drew her in slightly more chibi proportions as opposed to being lanky. She is shorter than normal LadyDevimon and also sports a tarnished Holy Ring on her right claw. I spent way too much time on this due to the body shape. I'm still getting used to drawing it, particularly since I'm kind of having to make up this style on the fly due to lack of reference material for bigger women in less realistic styles. [That doesn't border into caricature, overexaggerated, or too sexualized.]

She isn't the default Ultimate for my self Digimon line, but rather a branch-off that happens sometimes when Mia feels intense negative emotions. So a corrupted one, in a sense. But not really evil at all. Allows me to indulge my inner edginess.

Lore: Formed from the self-loathing of former human Mia Dessendre, LadyDevimon M's darkness is based on sorrow rather than rage. Unlike regular LadyDevimon, she is peaceful and will not hurt others, shying away from combat. Even if attacked by other Digimon, she will not retaliate unless it is absolutely necessary.

However, the same kindness will not be granted to herself. This Digimon will go into an uncontrollable rage if complimented or spoken kindly of. The crystal on her chest will fill with toxic shadows, causing the familiar attached to her shoulder to start attacking her in her signature move - Forbidden Hazard. Though this technique is intended to only cause harm to LadyDevimon M, it will emit a wave of poisonous shadow that will cause harm to any nearby as well.

She retains a Holy Ring from her previous forms, though it has become silver and tarnished. It allows her to access some of her old healing abilities, but at a cost.

Techniques:

• Forbidden Hazard: Her crystal fills with toxic shadows and her shoulder familiar opens up its stitched mouth and starts biting at LadyDevimon M, emitting an acidic wave of darkness that causes damage to herself and those nearby. This attack is painful, but her most powerful technique. [ Exclusive to LadyDevimon M ]
• Sacrificure: The Tarnished Holy Ring's symbols glow red. Heals another by sacrificing some of LadyDevimon M's energy, which manifests as blood red light. [ Exclusive to LadyDevimon M ]
• Darkness Wave: Unleashes creatures of darkness similar to bats.
• Darkness Spear: Transforms left arm into a spear.
