There's a stage in creating a series called "Development and Presentation" - in the old days it was a package of notebooks with the series outline, characters, art, a sample script, usually some large physical artwork prints - this would be presented to studio higher-ups to bring producers in to green light further development.
The presentation art on this project had a sort of manga feel, which was my call - i was given very free reign in creating the designs and presentation art. Challenging but also fun !
