Brand was as archeologist set on his first big discovery in the Incan temples of South America. Upon finding an ancient necklace he took it greedily only to fall victim to a curse that would slowly transform him into an ancient beast and would be permanent on the next full moon.

Hoping to rid himself of the curse he flung it into the jungle only to realise he needed it to reverse what was beginning to happen to him. His build was growing, body hair thickening to fur, face pushing out into a muzzle and his nails stretching into long, thick claws.
On the night of the full moon he finally spotted the necklace high in a tree.
He despereratly began to climb as his build continued to swell and gain mass, he managed to reach the branch and stretched out with his long arm, hooking a finger as the metal began to glow.
Horrified he turned his head to see the moon shining brightly as the branches he was holding onto began to creak and crack.

His time was up!
