(SCRAPS)-Sad sack
lmao its not much, i cant exactly...finish it but I just thought id share, because im practicing some sewing for a bigger project in the next few days
I started learning to sew by hand last night, last time i did it it was in primary school, i found it boring, and i was really bad it at (for some reason i couldnt grasp the in and out motion) so im trying again, and whilst its a little finicky you get used to it pretty quickly, its quite relaxing tbh even if this is kinda bad lol
my base was way too small, no room for seam allowance and there were times I tried to sew as close to the edge as possible to leave me some wriggle room. bad idea, the material started to fray (as u can see on the right side of this sack lol)
and by the time I got round to sewing up a leg, I realised it was WAY, too small, literally couldn't turn it inside out without ripping all the stiches (the other ones were hard as is, I didnt leave myself much room to flip them) I stuffed the sack with some tissue and tried to sew the head to the neck, by far the hardest part of this ordeal. His neck is very floppy, I need to practice on stitching two different fabric parts together
but yeah, despite how flimsy and tacky this may look, I felt pretty good doing it and im eager to learn from my mistakes :3
so I behold to you my sad sack
