The Amazing Digital Circus Jax Fan Art - All Alone
I'm not normally one to do fan art, but I just can't help but love Digital Circus. It is by far one of my absolute favorite independent animated shows. Episode 6 was certainly a treat as well with it's writing and pacing. Not to mention the dynamic between Pomni and Jax.
Watching the episode made me think of how isolating and sad it must be to have the attitude Jax does. It reminds me of what I tend to do sometimes whenever I feel like I'm in a bad spot. I have this tendency of isolating myself, and seeing it in this episode has set me back on the path to try and work on that.

YEEEEES!!! That episode was sooo good! ^!^ Jax's attitude, a classic coping mechanism for trying to avoid pain gone too far. I loved it!!! And Pomni is just so good and bonding with others whether they want it or not, hehe! Also loved Kinger's moment with Ragatha, he's so fatherly. ^!^ And the "I'm right behind you, aren't I?" joke. Classic! XD

This is soooo good! Monochromatic, a single dim light source, the heavy shading (the style of which is perfect for this, just like within cyberpunk), the bald patch of grass that's as isolated as he is. It all perfectly emphasizes how alone he is. Nothing around, nothing for him. Amazing work, babe. ^!^
