Ummm, I don't think traditional comicbook logic really applies to Zodaic. Or at the very least I hope it doesn't as I have found that it produces stories that are extremely unsatisfying.
And there are lots of reasons to trust an "evil" person, strength in numbers, shared goals and ambitions, similar philosophy, the promise of a bigger payout then you can ever get working alone. The Nazis were "evil" and if Hitler had as much infighting and betrayals as you see in furry drek, his people probably wouldn't have conquered all of mainland Europe. In short, "Evil" does not necessarily mean "selfish" or "untrustworthy." It just means that you're a douchebag. You could be extremely trustworthy, but you're still a douchebag.

Okay, the reason I pointed ou tthe untrustworthy is, notice how the male villians react when Slaver is around? The whole "don't get near me" thing? They don't trust her to keep her powers off them. If there's one they don't trust, it'd be reasonable to think there might be more, right?
Or it could be that they just have trust issues over some big blunder of hers between this comic and where we last left off in the core Zodaic strip... like say the epic fail the fight at Chop's is turning out to be?
After all, Slaver only had her reputation with the rest of the group AFTER she used it on the guys a few times; which is what the dialog between her and Iggy points to. What Slaver did to earn their distrust should not impact the group's original opinion of Nightmare. Anything else is a failure at basic story logic, PERIOD.
