Liquii. Another character from my teen-age sci-fi super-hero space-opera comix-universe thingy-mabobby.
Typical teen comix drawn on notebook paper - started in 7th grade - made a few hundred pages - three main series and a few side series. The original sketch was prolly from 8th grade. Then i do art school, the animation biz, and the folders and notebooks are nearly forgotten. Then around '91 i got nostalgic for the styles i had developed at the end of the series and started revising and inking some of the old pages and pictures. So this is a revision from around '92 - a re-envisioning of 70's comics styles - a mash-up of Steranko, Smith, Wood, etc.
Alien barbarian marries alien vampire subplot - Every good fantasy universe needs one of those story lines. ....

"Can I axe you a question?"
Eighth grade? Seriously?
Lately I've been finding old '60s and '70s underground Comix online and recomposing the pages (normalizing them) into PDFs. There's some Crumb and a lot of other names I've forgotten in that group. This is better than most of them!

This style is a blend of many of the comics and sf illustrators i grew-up with. And i also meant it to be over-the-top just as those classic comics were over-the-top. Jim Steranko, Barry Smith, and Wally Wood - there are elements of some other styles - Kirby face and hair, etc.
i love the classic comix where the inking would get turned-up to 11 !
