For todays drawing I bring you all a quick Trobbio practice painting. In this piece I tried experimenting with texture trying two different methods of adding texture to his coat, one on the front part of the coat and one on the rear part of the coat. In the end I really liked the front coats appearance even if its a bit messy, but I think if I had planned it a bit better it wouldn't have come out so messy. I also tried my hand at simple backgrounds again with a simple flame/firework behind Trobbio and a simple structure behind that. Ontop of that I tried my hand at lighting affects again with a nice pink glow being emmited by the flame as well as a more subtle overall white glow raining down from the top left of the screen moving in a diagonal to the lower right of the screen which I then erased in some areas to show that Trobbios frame was blocking the light. In the end this is a very messy piece but I'm still happy with the results, even if they are very simple, and am very excited to take what I learned here and try to build upon it in future pieces. I'll try to get back to my usual furry stuff in my next drawing but after that I'd like to draw Skarrsing Karmelita because I just adore her design as well.
