Which makes me wonder how many lives are built upon these lies. Parades thrown in their honor for people who have committed crimes in unjust wars.
I wonder if and how Marylyn strayed and why she came back, especially since they ceased talking about why they broke up.
Everything remains in a fragile balance so long as the sins weighing upon it aren't disturbed. Kylar deserves better. Marylyn deserves better. Joel deserves better. All are trapped by the society that won't allow them to live openly, twisted together by lies and status.
