Don't Go Into The Woods (2025 Tickletober Story #9)
Day 9 prompt is Tickle Monster - and there's only one Pokemon that could possibly refer to :p
(...Well, I could actually think of more than just one - but... y'know... there's one that often appears as a sadistic tickler in my works.)
A pair of thieves - Axew and Alolan Rattata - run afoul of a guardian of the garden they tried to steal from (which, if I had to guess, I'd say is probably that very same Sylveon Pixie ran into that one time). This can only end up well.
I felt like in-universe, "Black Rattata" or "Dark Rattata" would sound more natural than "Alolan Rattata", hence why the later term doesn't actually appear in the story. I hope it wasn't confusing.

I'm not really planning on returning to most of those characters; I might try doing something more with Jinx the Mimikyu and his Pikachu friends from story 5 and I'll almost certainly expand on the (currently unnamed) Shinx and Cyndaquil from day 7 and 10 - but otherwise I don't want to have that many OCs around.
