I enjoy taking close-up photos of insects, but it is a task requiring a lot of patience, as most insects refuse to stay in the same place for very long! This bee obligingly stayed reasonably still for just enough time for me to grab this shot.

Thanks very much. =:) There was a lot of luck involved, to be honest. This flower was growing right next to a bench I was already sitting on, so I didn't have to move much. I took about 20 pics, and really only a couple were properly in focus; it's not easy at all, and I don't usually get it this nice!
