And that should have been my right calf and ankle and foot. It doesn't look too bad, but look at the scrapes in the hard plastic at the top (on the SVX logo), at the ankle joint and the toe. Again, that plastic is a lot harder than flesh, or any sneaker you want to put up against it. My gear did its job and saved me from a whole lot of trauma.
