From One Legendary Mascot to Another
We're now into week 2 of Inktober 2025.
And, for anyone's information, Linus the Lionhearted is approximately four years younger than Michigan J. Frog, who made his debut in the Chuck-Jones-directed Merrie Melodies short "One Froggy Evening" on New Years Eve 1955, and became mascot for The WB Television Network. Linus respects his older amphibious counterpart, and requests a performance from him in his honor.
