The half genie waifu has been turned into a hypnotized robotic player 2 and of course, knowing me and my thing for Shantae I’d be more than happy to have her as my robotic player 2 to play some games with. Or just have her do tasks around the house because casual reminder, while playing video games IS the primary function of R.O.B Drones, what with them being based of an old Nintendo peripheral and all, it’s not there ONLY function. They can just be regular drones if you want. And you know, considering the amount of shit Shantae goes though in her games I’m more than happy to have a hypno therapy session with her.
Of all the characters I’ve turned into R.O.B Drones or want to turn into R.O.B Drones at some point down the line Shantae is probably the most important one I’ve gotten. No, not because she’s one of my favourite characters of all time only behind Dante from Devil May Cry as my actual favourite character in fiction or anything but more because in the cannon of my sona’s universe, she’s actually the second person to test out being a R.O.B Drone after my sona before he started offering his services to others across the worlds. Because come on, if you’re going to come up with your own original drone idea you might as well get someone you’re really close with to be your next test subject. Especially since Shantae was the one who originally encouraged Bellmo to try and give actually being a hypno dom a shot which canonically he has tried way before making R.O.B Drones a thing. They have both taken turns hypnotizing each other mainly to help destress after long and or stressful days. So of course, she’d be more than willing to test out her husband’s new drone type he came up with. And she’s rocking the colours of the original Japaness R.O.B two, white and red. Why those colours and not one of the Gameboy Colour models in direct reference to her system of origin like I’ve been doing with every other character I’ve gotten as a R.O.B Drone so far? Well, mostly because I just really wanted to get those original Japanesse colours for my concept and getting my sona’s cannon lover *well, Human Bellmo’s cannon lover at least* as the alt colours of the actual R.O.B while you get yourself as the more commonly known grey and white just seemed fitting.
And of course, given the whole “Bellmo and Shantae taking turns hypnotising eachother” thing that of course means both are also going to take turns being each other’s R.O.B Drones when they feel like it heh. Like right now because this unit has actually been typing this description while as a R.O.B Drone and must now resume it’s primary function of playing Diddy Kong Racing with Miss Shantae. @.@ … The original Nintendo 64 version, not the inferior DS version where the silver coin challenges are removed, has worser music and Taj sounds like a stoner for some reason.
