"What's wrong, Gale? Can't turn me into a balloonie?"

After being a balloonie for almost a week, I found this neat lil chest at the front door. I took it in and opened it up and saw some ancient stuff. Beakers, books and ... a note? I pick it up first and read it that the chest and all this stuff is from my ancestor ... who happens to be a wizard back then. I saw the odd inked stamp at the bottom of the note and just touched it. Suddenly, the vinyl that makes my balloonie body receded and my fur and pudge came back~! Apparently, he had enemies and rivals back then i thought that his decendants could also be in trouble. That's thoughtful of him~ The same rune appeared on my chest and that means that im completely immune to magic :D

Tho it did come with side effects. The rune doesnt really leave me immune to magic. It's some sort of absorption and redirection magic. And if i absorb too much magic, i start to gain weight. Luckily, no matter how much i over take in, it'll all dissipate at the strike of twelve midnight.
