The second half of the commission for Kirydos. A human leg shifting into a more draconic, oceanic form.
If I have any regrets, its that my severe linework style can't do textures well (at least that I've learned so far) for example, it would be difficult to put the softer scales and mottled spots that are on the were-dragon's hide, especially as they are just starting to emerge.
Ah well, maybe I'll pick up a trick to handle them better as I go along. For now, blended in textures are something that need to be colored in for me.
Hope folks like this little bit of work so far, and of course, My thanks goes to Kirydos for having me work on it.

*nods* yep, that was part of the request, though I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem given my tendencies anyway.
I also decided to do something slightly different as far as the growth of the claws goes: you usually see them grow right along with the rest of the digits/limbs... but I thought it might create a more dynamic effect to have them stretch out at the final moments, to sort of simulate a "Inside, then outside" sort of order to the transformation.
Its also why I had the toes stretch long and thin, then thicken: sort of a "one step at a time" transformation rather than a "everything all at once" situation.
I also had the toes splay at the last moment to show the subjects involuntary reflex to the sudden claw growth, even though it sort of makes the "final frame" look like the subject is still in the middle of transformation convulsions.
..... I tend to overthink details, even when it doesn't show in the artwork... I think even gryf probably thinks of details in his work that he can't seem to bring out on paper, at least in a way that other people see them the same way he does. *shrug* Did I mention I have an interest in the psychology of an artist?
.......lol, so yup, those are my thoughts on your comment.

Sorry Istel, but it is "finished". The commissioner only asked for a transformation of the arm and the leg.
He *might* commission the whole dragon in the future, though its up in the air at the moment, and if he does, it will have to wait til all the other commissions in line are complete: professional fairness to all my clients and all that.
But I'm glad you like it:)
