Part of the Mist Desert setting, mist plants are valuable resources protected by the Baleen aliens. Similar to succulents and mushrooms, they are adept at collecting the morning mists and storing the liquid for later when the true dry seasons hit.

The Pill shrimp live with and inside the plants, cleaning out other critters that try to set up shop and eat the plant. They also eat any mold or fungus like issues. Their larva keep the water pods clear and clean, aiding in the storage of the water itself.
