Zinc once briefly inserted himself into the rivalry between  Virmir and Mara. He probably didn't think much about it at the time, but he didn't realize that Mara is easily distractable and now she seems to have made him part of her little game. It's a strange game, with changing rules, if it has rules at all. It's like Calvinball, but with more transformation.
