Scooby Doom: Ghastly Gunslinger
Type: Ghost/Steel
The New Scooby-Doo Movies Episode 1 - Ghastly Ghost Town
Turned the Gunslinger into a past Paradox Form of Ceruledge
Part 3 Ghastly Gunslinger
Part 3 - We are back with Chili and Velma, who are revealed to be alive, the quicksand trap just dragged them down to a lower floor of the ruins, not lost and trying to find a way out when they see a ghostly purple light ahead of them. They first worry that there might be Litwicks in these ruins, even though the Pokemon are not known to live in the Unova Desert, but the two have their Pokemon out ready for a fight. It’s soon revealed to be something that neither of them have seen before: a strange Ceruledge-like Pokemon, and it has a gun. It points at them and a battle ensues.
Velma has her Porygon run a scan on it, seeing if it matches any known Pokemon but it doesn’t, but Porygon was able to identify its typing as Ghost/Steel.
Chili (Maybe) “Great! still dealing with a ghost type, but it has a gun! I think I would prefer the lamp over this!”
They battle it, but it becomes very apparent that it is a much stronger opponent so the two are forced to retreat.
—
Scene switches back to Scooby, Shaggy, and Cilan along with Rico and Tyrone, now as they travel back to where the survivors are staying.
Rico further explains how he found Tyrone injured and nursed him back to health, but there are things he still doesn't know how to handle with this Pokemon, so that is why he and Tyrone are going to Nimbasa Amusement Park. The people working there are already familiar with taking care of strange futuristic Pokemon so he believes it would be in the best interest of Tyrone that he should live there. While Rico is sad to be separated from Tyrone, he says he’ll be happy knowing that they could take care of him better, as he’s been having trouble looking after his buddy ever since he found him. While Tyrone is a really friendly Pokemon he is a lot to handle and has special needs/food to keep him strong and healthy.
As they enter the ruin shelter area, Scooby, Shaggy, and Cilan immediately notice that Chili and Velma are gone, and that from talking to one of the other people there that Fred, Daphne, and Cress haven’t come back yet either. Worried, they start asking what happened to Chili and Velma, and learn how they went after a suspicious guy. They choose to search for them, leaving Rico and Tyrone at the ruin shelter.
—
Scene switches back to Fred, Daphne, and Cress, with the support of Fred’s Galvantula and Cress’s Panpour, Daphne’s Charizard is able to defeat the Cacnea, Cacturne, and Maractus with ease. With no Pokemon left to fight, the stranger quickly retreats inside the ruins. Fred, Daphne, and Cress chase after him, but when they step through, they start sinking - another quicksand trap has appeared and the 3 quickly fall through and land right on top of Chili and Velma.
—
Scene switches back to Scooby, Shaggy, and Cilan who, using Scooby’s tracking skill, were able to find where Chili and Velma had gone, but it leads to a dead end. The quicksand trap they fell through is now no longer there, so it just seems they have disappeared without a trace.
Suddenly, from the other side of the room a purple glow appears. It's the Ghastly Gunslinger Pokemon. Already aiming at the group, it fires and hits Scooby, but it has no effect on him as it was a ghost move. It is surprised but it fires again, but still has no effect, it seems scared of Scooby now and is turning around and fleeing. Cilan insists they go after it, as maybe it’s responsible for what happened to Chili and Velma, but as they follow it another quicksand trap opens up beneath their feet and they all fall down. End of Part 3.
