Back from when dinosaurs walked the earth , circa '78 - '80 something. Drawn with black Prisacolor pencil - maybe in a big sketchbook (?) - then gradient mapped in '09.

They belong to Marvel.

i don't know why, but the blacks in this picture seem super dark. Some sort of contrast ratio ? The colour map ?

i don't recall what years it was that the Vision was depicted with darkened eye socket and little points of light for eyes - but wide spread - un-natural . - that's true to the style back then.

pretty kewl! Were these your favourite Avengers? I love the composition, there's sure a lot of room for creativity when posing a tiny character with a larger one

The original black pencil version looked pretty cool to me back then, but then i added the gradient map '09 - the purple and peach tones .... the colours gave the picture some emotion.
