September's Crossiver Art is "Pan's Labyrinth"!
Coach has to quickly cover Suzie's mouth to keep her from making any excited noises at seeing a being made of living wood. Best not to disturb this particular faun on a mission.
Pan's Labyrinth is an incredible dark fantasy combined with war commentary and gives an old nostalgic feel. It has terrifying creatures but none as terrifying as the man who is supposed to be the main character's fascist step father. The girl needs to perform a series of fae tasks in order to regain her forgotten place as a princess, all with her over-controlling step father constantly being an obstacle. This movie gets pretty brutal with one of the only gorey scenes in a movie I've had to look away from due to how disturbing and unusual it was. It's an image that burned in my mind and to this day I still don't want to see that scene again. Side note the movie also has a beautiful score worth listening to.
