Franz's eyes glow red when he's feeling a little rambunctious. I wonder if his eyes turn other colors when he's feeling different emotions? Since Franz was originally designed to be a companion for small children, clear and unambiguous communication of emotional state may have been an accessibility feature.

Bryce continues to be my most autumnal character, and he knows how to dress for the season. It used to be my conceit that Bryce had a hat collection—one, because I used to collect hats; and two, because it fit my sense of humor towards the character at the time, because anything bigger than small caps would be at best awkward to wear for half the year. (The man in the stetson wasn't even him.)

Instead Bryce has been seen with more types of walking sticks than hats. Admittedly it makes more sense for an antlered person with back problems to accumulate walking aids than head coverings.
