Most of Sugars "dialogue" is actually scripted for him by droves of chamberland employees, so when he starts having more candid conversations with people in his young adulthood, he was pretty shocked by his own personality!
in his mid twenties he often catches himself calling his mom "Mommy" which he finds embarrassing and a bit infantalizing, which is something he really becomes more conscious and aware of around his 21st birthday. despite calling her "Ma" when scripted, he called her Mommy when he's alone with her. without the scripts, he struggles to remember to call her the name she liked better. he finds himself doing stuff like this somewhat regularly when going off of these scripts. this is taken care of in the same way most of his mistakes are taken care of.
