You'd think seeing a werewolf bleed would be a good thing, right ?
Well... If said werewolf happens to be a Blood Huntress, and especially if that bleeding wound also happens to be self-inflicted... Not so much.
It pretty much means that you just went from "in big trouble" to "thoroughly screwed".

In case you're not too familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, the Blood Hunter is a pretty interesting class that basically relies on sacrificing HP to enhance your damage output through the use of blood magic. It's also the only class, barring homebrew rules (or a more creative interpretation of the Beast Barbarian subclass), that actually allows you to play as a werewolf by choosing the Order of the Lycan specialization.
Unsurprisingly, Lycan blood hunters are the tankiest of the bunch and they hit like trucks. They can only remain in beast form for a limited amount of time, but typically, by the time they're forced to turn back into their base form, any foe they were facing has long since been reduced to bloody chunks.
I'll be playing as one in an upcoming D&D campaign that I have very much been looking forward to. I've already drawn her before, but I'm still figuring her final design out. My DM pointing out that she'd be better off wearing a cuirass instead of scale armor prompted me to sketch this concept, experimenting with a new armor design while also trying something new for her head/face.
I like the idea of her wearing a bunch of pelts alongside her breastplate for a more "barbarian" vibe, and her body not being too covered in general besides the torso. After all, when you go from a 6'3" half-Orc to a 7'2" werewolf on a regular basis, it's best to ensure that your armor/clothes can handle the increase in mass without breaking apart.
