Even after getting out of the Huailina Civil Engineering Corps, Aria still needed to get employment to help keep her luxuries going. On the other flipper, Kelp Edens made for a relatively pleasant employer. Aria might be somewhat on show, but she gets competitive pay, respect, a chance to practice her singing, and quite a few other benefits.
It just kind of sucks that in between helping to conduct repairs, learning to be a park ranger for the massive kelp forests of Kelp Edens, and other business she's sort of become the park mascot. So, she's commonly asked to break away from doing things she would rather do in order to get on display as a species ambassador to help spread information on how dorcas came to be, the advantages of getting engineered into one, and all the fun that can come from being a wee free bwee. She's got no idea who's the poor fella they've got stuffed into the suit modeled after her. It's probably pretty nice in the winter, but summers at the Sunrise Spire's latitude are often brutal, so hopefully it's got some AC in it.
Oh well, in the meantime once she's done doing some tricks for the crowd who are cheering for her, she's got to get back to doing work on the local bay amphitheaters underwater portions, and then she can snuggle into her soft berth to rest. It's quite the luxury to let herself fully shut off for a bit, and she's been waiting for such an opportunity for a-did some idiot just get completely tangled in the kelp beds?
...... She's never gonna get to fully get to sleep, is she?
