Scrib is my Starfinder-rpg oc and this is his short story:
Skrib hatched beneath the crimson sands of Akiton, in a half-collapsed mine tunnel where Ikeshti scavengers stripped old Pact mining rigs for scrap. His clutch never knew peace the sands belonged to whoever had the biggest gun that week, and Skrib learned early that explosives solved problems faster than diplomacy.
He was small, even by Ikeshti standards, but quick and mean enough to survive. The local merc gangs thought him amusing a lizard barely knee-high to a human, lugging around charges twice his weight. He became their mascot, then their sapper, and eventually their equal. They started calling him “the Brass Salamander,” after he forged his own armor from scavenged plating.
Now he wanders from contract to contract, his cannon slung over one shoulder, a bag of high-yield surprises on the other. He fights not for ideology or glory, but for the thrill of the blast and the promise that, one day, he’ll earn enough credits to build the biggest explosion Akiton’s ever seen.
