Another of Mia's brief write-ups and sketches, this time of a keystone plant that creates so much habitat for other species. You can literally pick up a portion of a piassijada blanket and things start scurrying away in all directions.

Just... a naturalist should be wary of recently shed sammamimoss feathers. Those things can make you ill just by touching them, especially if you then rub your eye or eat something.
