No real descriptions remain on these two unique Unicorns, though there may be some that are not translated into English.
They are both found in several Bestiaries from the Middle Ages on and are fairly consistent in thier illustrations.
The Pirassoipi has short curly hair, cloven hooves, a beard and two spiraled horns, unlike the majority of other Unicorns.
The Camphur, also called the Campchurch, was an aquatic Unicorn that resembled the love-child of a seal and a duck, with a little horse thrown in for good measure! It had a seal-like head and neck, horse-like body with cloven forefeet and the back feet of a duck. Also had a deer-like tail and a long spiraled horn.
This is part of my "Unicorn Species" Series. Based on descriptions I have available, these are what I think they would look like!
If anyone knows of any I missed, please let me know, but look thru all of them first! Thanks!
