Ro vs. Asha
I think I probably snapped somewhere along the past two weeks. I accepted this request a couple weeks ago and had been working through so many different versions of it. I was never satisfied with how the characters turned out. Seriously, I've got like four different Asha sketches and two Ros.I have never really taken on poses like these before. On that subject, I never do backgrounds for my skills lie in anatomy not scenery, so this one has only the blandest background of a field stretching on...
I've never really done action poses, or ones with more than one figure actually interacting. I'm inspired to do more. Sorry that this one is so sketchy, I kinda had to stop myself from destroying it further. I mean, first of all, I shouldn't have attempted this one on my iPad, I should have stuck with traditional methods for a whole new concept. This took hours upon hours and the app wasn't all too cooperative. Neither was the dull tipped stylus... I even stopped myself from adding shading out of fear.
This was originally going to be a WIP thing where I would show my progress, but there ended up being so many different starts and such, that I just couldn't do it. >.<
Well, for better of for worse, here it is. Asha about to swing her heavy mallet at Ro. Ro tends to fight unarmed, but hell, this is surprising. Look at him, it's like he had a combat stance that subtly fell apart in surprise at the EFFING Mallet. EFFING MALLET. A big ol' THWACK is sure to follow, with Ro flying through the air shortly after.
Thanks for giving me practice! I might get back to work on it.
Please, help me out with this one. Questions, comments, critique, please. Greatly appreciated. ^^

XD Yeah, that's totally what's going on. I'm sorry this took so long, it was kinda a challenge. I tried to make it more dynamic, but as always, things got rather... still... And to think, I sketched the whole scene out at least three times.
Well, I'm glad you love it, and you are very welcome. ^^
