I don't know why Simm is holding his tail like that. Maybe he had a traumatic moment and needed to curl up for a moment with the body-pillow-sized-tail. Maybe he knows it'll go back to a shark tail at the end of September.
My primary reason for painting this was to practice mixing paints. Other than the filigree and a bit of the eye, everything came from primary red, burnt sienna, ivory black, and titanium white. Most of it is still greyscale with not a lot of blending, but it was fun to experiment with!
