Jack is pretty much the best. That was one of my favorite scenes in Act 5 part 2. He's so silly.

This looks fantastic. I really like the way you want about doing this piece. The colors are wonderful, and I really like his exaggerated, elongated anatomy. :)

Totally. I love Homestuck. My fiance introduced me, but it was Vriska that made me read it (bluhbluhhugebitch). I've actually done some Homestuck fan art myself, but not a lot.

pfff. . . a lot of people are raging about homestuck
and there was sort of a drama over the tumblr between TF2 game fans and homestuck fans
I guess TF2 fans can't understand how can you like other things besides TF2 at the same time...
aaanyways, I love Homestuck and it's one funny comic! There are so many things that I and my friends talk about mentioning some jokes about the comic and character!

at first I saw Troll fanarts around tumblr which made me curious about them. Who are they, and why is that guy gray and laying down in some chocolate? (in that time I didn't know that it was Tavros lol)
so yeah, I got the homepage for the comic and well... It was at first very weird but I could read it with the first time, meanwhile my friend couldn't get over the first Act without quitting 5 times XD
oh God... but after she reached the end of act 1 she loved it too!

I am totally not a fantroll fan. I've never liked fan characters all too much, though. So I stay away from that part of the fandom and stick to the canon fan art and comic itself.

My friends have the same quitting problem. I don't understand why. The trolls aren't the only or best thing about the comic. The entire first two acts are completely hilarious, and John is the best. My fiance, my sister, and I ate the comic alive. Hooked from panel one.

Karkat is adorable. He's up there with my favorite trolls. Vriska is my favorite though. I love her. I think she's the only troll that I like more than Dave and John, though. The kids rock, and are too frequently overlooked by the rabid troll-fan fanbase.

Kanaya's my patron troll. She's also one of my favorites.
I like all of the characters, really. If I had to pick two that didn't interest me as much as the others, it'd be The Felt, Gamzee and Eridan. The Felt don't serve too much purpose, and what little purpose they did serve has been carried out. Eridan and Gamzee are just shallow characters as far as writing goes. There's not too much development, but they have an important reason to be there. (I think Sollux is pretty much the same, but I like him more because of his design.)

Eridan is just so desperate for a relationship of any kind that he will make a move on anyone. He doesn't care what quadrant. That's what makes him most interesting for me.
Gamzee became interesting for me when he ran out of slime-pies.

Oh, I loved the intermission. It was both hilarious and interesting. But The Felt don't do anything besides in the intermission and, most recently, the God Tier clock with Vriska.in the top banner most recently. They don't serve too much of a purpose. The most important Felt character is Snowman, and we're not even sure why yet. (And, of course Lord English, whom we're all still waiting for.) No one in the Felt besides Snowman has much of a personality, and, outside of appearance and powers, don't stand apart from each other. They're pretty bland.

The banner isn't a separate comic. It's canon and important to what's going on in the story right now. The main comic pages is Doc Scratch telling us what's happening with everyone else, and the banner is showing us what's physically happening with Doc Scratch. It's the same exact story, just two parts being told simultaneously.

If you want to read Hussie comics that are unrelated to Homestuck, you should read Problem Sleuth or Humanimals. :)

Humanimals is one of Hussie's lesser known webcomics. Most of the fanbase actually only knows of Problem Sleuth and Homestuck. Aurthour came from Humanimals. X3
