I learned an easy way to sim battle damage in the pre print stage is using negitive parts to cut the object in the digital stage. long scratches are easiet this wat using the corner of a cube. but to get bullet impacts I found you can use table to terrain downloads. I merged some artillery craters to nice effect, and then used a negitive acid pool to simulate a laz bolt burn
